Don’t worry it’s nothing big. :)

Anyway a really close friend of mine, who is currently now working in South Korea, will be going to the Philippines during the holidays for something for her work. She asked me for a list of articles and posts on issues in the Philippines, particularly in regards to prostitution, trafficking, poverty, etc. and any other current issues. I also told her about our current issues regarding the U.S. constant involvement with not only in regards to the Spratly’s but also in trying to reopen old military bases (which if you know history, know that a great part of the prostitution in the Philippines resulted and still results from the U.S. occupation as well as the military bases.)

So if anyone wants to help me work on a list of things she can read so I can send it to her feel free to send in some links. (she has to learn and talk about the cultures of the Philippines and issues in the country and talk about what she learned to her co-workers who will also be doing the same thing, and who else to ask about all this other than her Filipin@ friend who knows and is interested in practically everything in regards to the Philippines and our cultures?)

She won’t be going until December during Christmas week but she needs to start working and reading on everything now and she wants to get started early with my help. So any suggestions and links feel free to reblog with them!
